1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage can store preferences or temporary drafts.
2. Essential Sign-In Cookies
When you sign in, our server sets HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax cookies: br_at (short-lived access JWT) and br_rt (long-lived refresh token). These are required for authenticated sessions and cannot be read by page JavaScript.
3. Consent Preference Cookie
baabrizq_cookie_consent stores your banner choice: essential or all, so we do not re-prompt on every visit.
4. Local and Session Storage
We may store locale, theme, temporary registration or login drafts, geo helpers for job browsing, employer UI state, and similar UX data in browser storage. These are not advertising trackers.
5. Analytics
The website does not require a third-party analytics SDK to function. Optional tools such as Google Analytics/GTM, PostHog, and Microsoft Clarity may load only if operators configure them and you choose Accept all in the consent banner.
6. Managing Preferences
Use the cookie banner (Accept all / Essential only) or clear cookies and site data in your browser. Clearing session cookies signs you out.
7. Updates and Contact
We may update this policy when storage practices change. Related documents include the Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy/ and Terms of Service at /legal/terms/ on baabrizq.com. Contact info@baabrizq.com with questions.
